Lowen in Sonthofen

The service was friendly, the waiting time of 40 minutes was still ok, the taste of the cheese spaetzle unfortunately couldn't keep up with those of other restaurants, several dishes with too much pepper (which covers everything else), watery salad dressing. Too bad.

I haven't experienced anything like it before, bad service, after 1 hour of waiting my friend got the food where you didn't know where to go, after another 15 minutes I got it. Food wasn't good, too salty. Guests who came shortly after us left the restaurant totally frustrated and angry without paying. Never again and not to be recommended.

I can only rate the restaurant. Location is ok, prices for the quality too expensive. Ketchup / mayo from bags, frozen chips.

We were in Sonthofen today and saw the benches and tables and wanted to sit outside. However, when we saw that 5 tables had not been cleared (customers were no longer there) the waiter came out and stood in the corner to smoke, I lost interest and we left. Really didn't make a good impression. I can't say whether the food tastes good or not.

If you have a lot of time and are looking for simple food, this is the place for you. We waited a whipped 45 minutes for the meal today Schnitzel, liver cheese and neck steaks, so nothing elaborate. The neck steak herb butter was still frozen when we finished eating. The waiter tried hard, but was obviously overwhelmed. But not all of the tables were occupied. The food is definitely not worth the money. The bill was there for seconds, which the waiter also emphasized ....

Were looking for a cozy place to have dinner and a beer and happened to pass by. The notice board convinced us to come back. The ambience was very nice and the service was very courteous and friendly. You were served quickly and the atmosphere was relaxed, as you would expect from a good middle-class inn. The food was also delicious. The duck with beer sauce is definitely recommended. The portions are also generous so that you will definitely get full.

Ordered espressos were accepted with the words: Have a look? And partially ordered drinks were simply not brought. Very cozy .. super nice service ... food fantastic .. for 5 different dishes 25 minutes waiting time .. all arrived at the same time and warm ... more than adequate portion size .. every minute and every euro was worth it .. top recommendation .. Very nice condition, beer tastes and the food also, what more could you ask for. At the Kässpatzen one notices that the use of flavor enhancers is omitted, unlike in other restaurants in Sonthofen.

Bavarian restaurant in the center of Sothofen. It's located in the sand zone. Prices are acceptable. We were in steam. I ordered a slice and a girl salad. She is very satisfied with her food. For my taste the portion of the snake could be bigger. Personal is quick and kind. The restaurant is neat and clean. In the summer there is a terrace on the square itself.

The food was very tasty. If I will be here again in the place, I would eat there again. All times better than the deer :)

Really delicious good middle class food. Cheap prices, good portions. Very tasty beer. Cozy ambience. Fast friendly service. Food came fast and was hot. We will remember the address in the middle of Sonthofen. We will definitely be back.

Went for a meal with 13 other guys, we reserved a table. On arrival we found that some of the prices had been raised for the steak and beer. The food was very average, the staff we friendly and the venue is quite traditional. 5/10
